Straight from the Horse’s Ass [17 April 2020]

Guess what straight-shooter is trying to rewrite recent history? You guessed it, your favorite political train wreck, Donald J Trump (who owns a mansion and a yacht). But here's the factual timeline, with quotes straight from the horse's ass.
Jan 14th--Campaign rally Jan 18-- golfing Jan 19-- golfing Jan 22--"We have it totally under control. It's one person coming in from China, and we have it under control." Jan 24--"It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!" Jan 28-- campaign rally
Jan 29-- WHO head publicly states "The whole world needs to be on alert now. The whole world needs to take action and be ready"
Jan 30--"We only have five people. Hopefully, everything's going to be great. They have somewhat of a problem, but hopefully, it's all going to be great." Jan 30-- campaign rally Feb 1-- golfing Feb 2--"We pretty much shut it down coming in from China." Feb 10-- campaign rally Feb 10--"Looks like by April, you know, in theory, when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away."
Feb 11-- WHO briefing: "If the world doesn't want to wake up and consider this enemy virus as Public Enemy Number 1, I don't think we will learn our lessons."
Feb 13--"In our country, we only have, basically, 12 cases, and most of those people are recovering and some cases fully recovered. So it's actually less." Feb 15-- golfing Feb 19-- campaign rally Feb 20-- campaign rally Feb 21-- campaign rally Feb 24--"The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA. We are in contact with everyone and all relevant countries. CDC & World Health have been working hard and very smart. Stock Market starting to look very good to me!" Feb 26--"When you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that's a pretty good job we've done." Feb 28-- campaign rally
Feb 28-- The WHO raises the global risk of the coronavirus from "high" to "very high."
March 5--"It's going to all work out. Everybody has to be calm. It's all going to work out."Mar 6--"I like the numbers being where they are. I don't need to have the numbers double because of one ship" March 7-- golfing March 8-- golfing March 10--"We're prepared, and we're doing a great job with it. And it will go away." March 11--"The vast majority of Americans, the risk is very, very low." March 13--"I don't take responsibility at all."
March 16-- WHO Briefing: "We have a simple message for all countries: test, test, test. Test every suspected case." United States still doesn't have enough tests for those showing symptoms, much less for all suspected cases.
March 24--"Easter is a very special day for me. And I see it sort of in that timeline that I'm thinking about. And I say, wouldn't it be great to have all of the churches full?" April 7--"The WHO really blew it."
In a global health crisis, telling the truth is a matter of life and death. In this basic duty, Donald J Trump failed. As he has failed every single day of his presidency.
